Winter 2011-2012
We are happy to announce that a litter is planned for Winter 2011-12 between Am. Ch. Firuza Awn Country Laines I Am "Eli" x Canapus Saqqara "Lilly". He is also a brother, from a different litter, to Am.Can.Ch. Firuza Awn Geneva and Awn Firuza Gibran, CC (open field coursing champion), and out of BISS Am. Can. Ch. Samoems Shafquat x Can. Ch. Firuza Etoile Noire Can Ch FChX, Am FCh, CGC. The breeding will take place in Holland at Canapus Salukis, Felix van der Drift. It will be the Canapus Awn litter.
- Eli is brother to Multi BISS Am. Ch. Awn Firuza IsadoraDuncan "Isadora" and Am. Can. Ch. Firuza Awn Iberia "Berry". He is also a brother, from the same breeding 5 years earlier, to Am.Can.Ch. Firuza Awn Geneva and Awn Firuza Gibran, CC (open field coursing champion), out of BISS Am. Can. Ch. Samoems Shafquat x Can. Ch. Firuza Etoile Noire Can Ch FChX, Am FCh, CGC.
- Lilly's mother, Katrien (in Holland), is from the sensational Canapus A litter that produced BIS and Specialty winning Salukis in Holland, USA and Sweden, including Swed. Germ. BIS, BISS Du. Germ VDH Ch. Canapus Ashiiquah. Katrien was the recent winner of the Champion class at the French FALAPA show. She also has 9 CCs, multiple BIS, clubwinner, res. BIS, 4 BOBs, and she has only been shown sparingly.
- This breeding ties back beautifully to the old Samoems side of the pedigree through both sides of "Lilly".
